I have a 1995 f-150 I installed my commando(delta) car starter in and it's not working !!!

I turns the truck on like it is going to start , but it just sit's there. The book says that the led should be flashing when the starter button is pushed , but it not

And the only way I can get the keyless entry to work it to use the panic setting with the remote..

Everting is hooked up except the , Hood pin switch , and shock sensor.

will it start with the remote if you place the key in the ign.????

also some units will not start if the hood switch is not hooked up....
