i had a viper 690xv installed in the 300sd, however the installer was not able to get the vacuum door locks to lock and unlock with the remote. He was able to get it to do one or the other but not both. does anybody have any ideas to what the problem could be?

Try this link to the door lock area. It shows how to connect vacuum door locks. And I believe if you look around the data base part of this website you will find some more information on Mercedes vacuum door locks.

Also do a search for past posted replies, that has helped me many times.

take a look at this digram....the pump (i think) will be under the back seat on the pass. side....
