(Installed into a 2000 Nissan Xterra)

All went well with the install and is working with the exception of the dome light when the system is activated/deactivated. The output from the alarm is a -200 mA output, my question is can I tie that into the SMART entrance control system Room Lamp output(RED / blk), or should I use a separate relay and if so where would I tie it into? Any help is appreciated thanks in advance.

Basically when I dissarm the system my domelight no longer comes on, but it does come on when I turn the key off. Prior to the install the domelight would turn on when the factory alarm was deactivated and shut off when activated.

what is the polarity of the output wire for that feature???

just wire up a relay from that output and tie into the dome light wire...

Dome Light RED / BLACK (-) AT PIN SWITCH OR SECU *

SMART ENTRANCE CONTROL UNIT Is Located High In The Driver's Kick Panel.
