I have a 1996 Nissan with a CS-9629MX4 Crimestopper system.

I just replaced the car's battery and now the starter won't engage, either with the remote starter or the key. All the lights work, the lock/unlock, etc. works. The alarm works. I just can't start the car.

I'm dead in the water.

Help!

Hey hogmallet,

Is it an automatic or manual? When you say that it doesn't start, do you mean that it doesn't crank or that it cranks but doesn't fire up? If it's an automatic, check if it's properly in park.
