Hey Guys,

Had a Avantgaurd 5 in this past weekend and I’m working on the only “Bug”.

Vehicle: 2002 Silverado HD

When I auto start the truck everything inside starts like it should, now if I immediately turn off the auto start the retained accessory power stays Hot for 5-8min. The stock sytem is waiting for the door to open before it turns off the retained accessory power.

If I auto-start then immediately turn off the auto-start via the remote the stereo (headlights, interior lights.ect) will stay ON for 5-8min. with the Avantgaurd 5 in armed mode.

Anyway to disable the stock retained accessory power, I would like to see everything turn off when I turn the truck off.

Thanks for your help.

did you install a 555L to bypass passlock II?  thats the first thing.  second, are you using voltage sense, or a tach wire?  and third, after remote start shut down, the accy will stay on just as if you turned the key off.  they should turn off with power lock, but i cant say that works for sure.
