I installed the rs3200+ alarm system into my 2002 Toyota Camry.

It doesn't come with the led status indicator, the connector/wire for it is there.

The voltage output from the alarm unit for the led is 1.8v.

I got a led (red) installed, but it is very dim. Here is my question, how can i tell the operating voltage of an led when no specification available?

What led can i use to increase the intensity of the status indicator?

Thanks in advance.

go to your local electronics shop and get a few different LED's with differing voltages, and use them all one by one for the brightest one
