When my battery went low, I changed it on my echo pager, then I lost all my personal settings such as time, vehicle image, start/stop tones etc. Is this normal or is there a way I can keep my settings when I change batteries? If this is normal, it is quite annoying to have to re-set everything each time the battery needs a change.

did your battery get low or was it about gone. IF you switch your battery quickly it should keep your settings. I would ask david(draasch) about it he installs omega

The battery was *not* about to be gone but just started showing the "batt low" icon. I was testing my shock sensor for a few hours to get it to work(failed) but as I kept setting off the beep on my echo (maybe hundred times), the battery suddenly slowed "batt low". I then went home and replaced it with a new one. I did it in less than 10 seconds. Still everything got wiped out including the vehicle icon. I will have to ask david too, thanks.

Well then I guess I will have to live with the default settings and reset just the clock each time. Or else I have a small tip for those who have this problem. Change the battery at 12.00 so you wont have to do that either! Just kidding.
