what i usually do when splicing into wires is i use my automatic wire strippers to strip the outer sheet away from the wire but not to break the wire in half. Then i use a pick to push through the middle of the exposed wire making a hole, then i feed the alarm wire though the hole like if you were threading a needle, then wrap the alarm wire around the car wire, solder it, then tape it. Makes for a solid connection. As for the wiring diagram here ya go. Immobilizer Bypass Module: | Required: Yes | Type: PATS | Part #: 555P, 555F, or 555U | Notes: N/A |

all the wiring diagrams ive ever seen dont show you exactly were the wires are just the general area, pretty much power is usually in a bundle of wires right under the dash below the steering column, door triggers and power lock/unlock sometimes is just behind the drivers side kick panel, you just have to unwrap the wires if they are taped or in wire loom and test the wire that the diagram shows is supposed to be the wire just to verify that its correct. And for solder yes I do it in the car, i usually stick a mat on the floor board so if solder drips it wont burn the carpet. I dont like T-taps just cause i dont wanna take a chance of it working loose, some people say if you do it right its just as good as solder but i like to solder.
