I have been alarm shopping, I know that I want remote start, thinking about something that has a paging system in it as well,,,, What alarm do you all think might suit me best? I Saw a Viper 791? I believe it was that seemed to have the features that I Wanted,, as well as a clifford Matrix 3.5 I believe? Thanks, ~Jay

It is all a matter of the features you need, and personal preference, of course. Compustar are my favourite, and they are good quality.

I've heard lots of good things about the Autopage 850. Although I've never owned or installed one, I know people who have and they say nothing but good things about them. I've seen them on ebay for about 175$ and they have TONS of features, even 5 extra aux channels! Plus they come with 2 transmitters, not one. I still cant figure for the life of me why you pay hundreds of dollars for a "top of the line" pager/remote start/alarm and they give you only one transmitter! All the vipers are like that, so are the cliffords, and pythons.

I know what you mean. I've seen some good ones on ebay myself. But at least give me 2 lcd remotes and not just one. You can usually buy another one and have it programmed to control your system though. ------------- Duane...
