ok ive found the negative trigger on the vw golf 2002 its the BROWN / white wire in the drivers kick panel....(i think)...neway i was jus wondering if i can tap direct into it or do i have to put a diode in it or sonething?? thanks hellpppp:D

here is what i have...the info i have are for cars that are here in the states...:

Make:   Volkswagen
Model: Golf
Year:    2002

Alarm
Constant 12 volts RED IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 12 volts BLACK IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter RED / GRAY IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Dome Light BLUE/GRAY (-) AT CONVENIENCE MODULE
Trunk Pin Switch BRN/BLU (-) AT LIGHT IN HATCH AREA
Parking Lamp GRY/RED & GRY/BLK (+) DRIVER'S KICK PANEL *
Power Lock YEL/BLU IN DRIVER'S #202
Power Unlock GRN/RED DOOR

* Diode isolation is Needed, Cathode Side (Band) Faces OME Wires. # See Positive Pulse Door Lock Diagram.


if you use a meter and the wire that you have shows as the dome light wire, then yes you can tap right into it.
