Hello All,

I have a potiential installation of a Prestige Platinum APS-996 in a 2002 Toyota Sequoia.  The customer is interested in the window roll-up feature (both directions) and sunroof feature (open and close), in addition to the remote start.  My questions are as follows:

1.) Do you have any tips regarding the lock / unlock wires?  My specs. indicate that is is not a fun thing to do

2.) Do you have the wire colors / locations of the window and sunroof wires?

3.) Any general suggestions (do's and don't) based on expereince with this vehicle would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

Those door locks are simple..Just grab you a two relays and two diodes and you are ready to rock. It's just like doing a Lexus. On that sunroof I have no info for it..you may have to find the wires coming from the switch trace them, and test for the wires.

This car has a double pulse lock system so inform your customer that they need to hit the button twice to unlock all doors, or you can program it in if you have an alarm that has that feature.

It looks like my customer my back off some of the features that he would like to have.  The windows and the sunroof are driving the price up on the installation.

Any other suggestions?
