What is the difference between the three differnt responder units on the python website?  Also what is the differnce between the clifford, python and viper units?

Lastly, where is the cheapest place to purchase these units along with the bypass units?

Thanks Sal

3 different models: alarm only, remote start only, and both

No real differences between Viper, Python, and Clifford. The remotes are different colors, the l.e.d's are different colors, and the shock sensor and siren may be a different shape on the Cliffords. They function the same. DEI doesn't want to have a million Viper dealers everywhere so they have a Viper dealer one place, down the street from them you will find a Python dealer, and then down the street from them there will be a Clifford dealer.

In an earlier post "just auto start" you helped me decide what to do with my jeep.  Where  is the best  (cheapest) prices for the components? I will be doing the install myself, so if you have ever don this install in a Jeep please send me all the info you have i.e. wire colors and charts.  I will be choosing to use your second idea for the second driver.  Will the factory remote still be fully operational?  Your help is greatly appreciated.

depends on where you are located...although i always recommend buying from an authorized dealer.... as opposed to the world's biggest garage sale - E-bay
