I have an autopage RF-305 that was already installed in my vehicle when I purchased it. The one design flaw in my vehicle is that I have to take out the battery to change the driver's side headlight. When I finish this and reconnect the battery- the alarm goes off and the remote does nothing to stop it. Does anyone have a manual on this system or some knowledge as to what may work to fix this?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

you should be able to turn ignition on and press the valet button if you have one. The remote should work though, so maybe it needs to be reprogrammed. Do you have the manual?
