you can get a shock sensor from www.autotechs.com and add it to any trigger wire to set the alarm off.

i have many shock sensors kicking around, can't i use one of them and use some relay configuration to interface it with factory alarm?

no hood pin or light under hood. seems they dont want sierra denali owners to look under hood! i have been out of install business for 7 yrs and dont have collection of relay configs i had made and gathered over the 19 yrs i was installing. i know i can make some sort of latching relay so shock works when truck is off, perhaps another to increase shocks signal to trigger dome, 1st relay disengaged when it gets ignition? its been quite awhile so anyone who has added shock to factory system with databus wiring in vehicle please hook me upposted_image

thanks,

Dave

Wire the sensors ground wire (black) to a true ignition wire (pink) in the truck. When the ignition is off it has a strong enough ground for the shock sensor to work.
