I'm having problems installing a starter kill on a 1972 camaro. the column has two purple wires coming out of it, one is just purple and the other is purple and white. i cut the purple and white wire and then tried to start the car. won't crank. so i thought i had the right wire and installed the starter kill relay using that wire. now i can't start the car with the relay installed. any ideas?

thanks in advance

how do you have it wired up??????

did u make sure you are using the starter wire???

find the starter wire and cut in two:

86 12 volts
85 ground when armed
30 to key side of starter wire
87a to remaining wire for starter....
