My grandpa recently bought a 2004 F250 turbo diesel. I took him for a ride in my Subaru WRX turbo and after walking away from the vehicle, he noticed that my car is still running. I told him about a Turbo Timer that I have installed to allow the car to idle for a set/auto period of time to let the car and turbo cool down before turning the engine off - while at the same time, be able to set the alarm and lock the doors while the engine is still running.

According to the F250 manual, you should allow the truck to idle for X amount of time, specially after towing or hard driving.

Has anyone installed a turbo timer on their late model F250? I am looking for wiring diagram/ ECU pinouts so I can install one to my grandpa's F250. There's no harness available for Ford Trucks, but if only someone can provide a good, clear wiring diagram, I will be able to. I need the following mainly:

Ignition 1:

Ignition 2: (if applicable)

12V On:

Accessory:

RPM/Tach:

Emergency Brake sensor:

Complete Alarm System Diagram:

Thank you so much. I have search and only found ONE topic on 2004 F250.
