on a Civic Si...

i know that remote start is dangerous on a manual transmission car.  but is it possible to install the alarm and NOT the RS features of this alarm?  i ask this because this model of the Matrix has the send/receive transmitter that the regular RS doesnt.  and since i might consider the RS in the future, does anyone know where the neutral wire connects to for the remote start on a manual?

Yes you can still connect this alarm and not use the RS features.  You still have to connect the  12v constant of the RS relay pack for the alarm to work.

just buy the  Matrix 2.5..... why pay extra for the Rs feature if you're not going to use it?

why not buy the 2.5 instead?  if you are doing the alarm features of the 3.5 you are like 2 wires from doing the remote start too.  just buy the alarm only.  the 2.5 is still 2-way LCD.

pin switch on the manual stick !!!   Custom baby !!!!  Only if its for you though.  Customers dont appreciate it.  Use the hood pin or neutral saftey on a hood pin that will set off if the stick is anywhere near gear.  Just a thought, i cant live without my remote start.  Or just get the rs2.5
