Does anyone have an alarm and remote start wiring diagram for a 2004 Dodge Ram Diesel? (it's actually 2004 1/2, if that 1/2 a year makes a difference.) Thank you in advance, it's greatly appreciated.

I still have the same as the 2004 Remote Starter Wiring Colors and Notes | Function | | Vehicle Color | Location | Start: | | YELLOW | IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS | Ignition #1: | | BLUE (16 AWG) | IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS | Ignition #2: | | RED | IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS | Ignition #3: | | GREEN & ORANGE (2 WIRES) | IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS | Accessory: | | BLACK/ WHITE & BLUE (2 WIRES) | IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS | Brake Light: | | WHITE/ TAN | AT SWITCH ABOVE BRAKE PEDAL | Tach Signal: | | TAN/RED | AT IGNITION COIL | Parking Lights: | | PURPLE / YELLOW | HEADLIGHT SWITCH* | Headlights: | | PURPLE / YELLOW | HEADLIGHT SWITCH * | OEM Alarm Disarm: | | LT. GREEN/ ORANGE ***** | HARNESS COMING IN FROM DRIVER'S DOOR | OEM Alarm Arm: | | | | Diesel Glow Plug: | | ORANGE / Black | Powertrain Control Module*** | Clutch Bypass Wire: | | | | Notes: | | * This Is A Single Wire System. Parking Lights Need To See A Ground (-) Through A 330 Ohm Resistor. Headlights Need To See A Ground (-) Through A 700 Ohm Resistor. ** Diesel Vehicles - ORANGE / Black Wait to Start; Tach Wire Is Gray/Black. Both Wires Are Located In A Black Connector Center Top Of Fire Wall. There Are Two Black Connectors, The Correct One Does Not Have A White Insert. *** Tach can also be located at pin 74 behind instrument cluster. |
Alarm and Keyless Entry Wiring Colors and Notes | Function | | Vehicle Color | Location | Constant +12 Volts: | | PINK/BLACK | IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS | Starter Kill: | | YELLOW | IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS | Ignition +12 Volts: | | BLUE (16 AWG) | IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS | Dome Lights/Superv: | | SEE NOTE *** | | OEM Horn: | | BLACK/ RED (-) | STEERING COLUMN HARNESS | Power Lock: | | WHITE/ GREEN | DRIVER'S KICK PANEL **** | Power Unlock: | | WHITE/ GREEN | DRIVER'S KICK PANEL **** | Trunk Release: | | N/A | | Alarm Input Wire: | | SEE NOTE *** | | Notes: | | *** Separate Triggers For Each Door. The Passenger Front Door Trigger Is Tan/Red (-) And the Passenger Rear Door Trigger Is Tan / YELLOW (-). Both Of These Wires Can Be Found In The Passenger Kick Panel. Diode Isolate Each Wire For Alarm Trigger With The Bands Facing Away From The Alarm/Remote Start Module. Use Only One Trigger For Dome Light Supervision. **** Single Wire Door Lock System See Note #211. Lock Requires A Ground (-) Pulse Through A 867 Ohm Resistor. Unlock Requires A Ground (-) Pulse Through A 364 Ohm Resistor. Diode Isolate One Of The Wires. ***** Requires A Negative Pulse Through A 1.5 K-Ohm Resistor. |

For some reason the software bmf1000d uses actually thinks an 04 is the same as the 02-03 Rams. They are different. This is for an 04.
04 Ram
12volts red (x2) + ignition harness
Starter yellow + ignition harness
Ignition pink/white + ignition harness
Second Ignition pink/lt. green + ignition harness
Accessory dk. blue & pink/yel (16 awg) + ignition harness
Second Accessory pink / YELLOW (14 awg) + ignition harness
Power Lock PURPLE / dk. green - driver kick, door harness
Notes: Lock is negative trigger thru an 820 ohm resistor. Unlock is negative trigger thru a 330 ohm resistor. MUST use relays.
Power Unlock same wire as power lock
Parking Lights+ wht/yel (L), wht/gray (R) + harness at top of driver fender
Parking Lights- WHITE/ lt. green - headlight switch
Notes: Parking lights are negative trigger thru a 249 or 330 ohm resistor. MUST use a relay.
Door Trigger see notes - see notes
Notes: The driver door trigger is purple and the driver side rear door is PURPLE / orange. These wires are in the driver kick panel. The passenger door trigger is PURPLE / white and the passenger side rear door is purple / YELLOW. These wires are in the passenger kick panel. Use all four wires and diode isolate each. See DirectFax document 1076 for wiring information.
Dome Supervision use door trigger wire
Factory Alarm Arm PURPLE / lt. blue - driver kick, door harness
Notes: This will also do door locks. Arm/lock is negative trigger thru a 2K ohm resistor. Disarm/unlock is negative trigger thru a 480 ohm resistor. Single pulse will do disarm without unlocking the doors. Unlock requires a double pulse. MUST use relays.
Factory Alarm Disarm same wire as factory alarm arm
Tachometer dk. blue/gray ac PCM, orange plug, pin 34
Notes: The PCM is on the passenger side firewall. On diesel models the tach wire is at the ECM on the lower driver side of the engine, 60 pin plug, pin 24.
Wait to start see document 1091
Brake Wire WHITE/ tan + brake pedal switch
Parking Brake dk. GREEN / WHITE - parking brake switch
Horn Trigger dk. GREEN/ purple - steering column
Immobilizer Bypass Module: Required: Yes Type: Sentry Key Part #: 555C or 555U
Notes: Only vehicles with gray keys have the immobilizer.

YES. 2004 has a totally different wiring diagram. I've done several 2004 ram pickups lately and they are definitely different from 02-03. The parking lights is WHITE/ Grey . NOT the Whie / YELLOW The WHITE/ grey will flash all of your parking lights. JWorm has the correct wiring diagram. John
