i am looking for a source to purchase several piezo sirens to install inside my car.  i am not interested in purchasing the name brand units that are the same as the less expensive ones without a label.  to me a piezo is a piezo.

any help would be great!

thanks!

Look on E-bay....I work for a company that sells them so I get them for little or nothing

The dB level of the internal *pain generators* are not all the same, regardless of their outside appearance. The one's you see at Radio Shack and others have a sound output of 99-109 dB.

The real ones have a sound output of 115-125 dB. The pitch and frequency has more affect on what you *think* you feel is painful.

You only need to listen to a smoke alarm for a brief period to know what I am talking about.

They are the cheapest on ebay. Just an example, this week I went to audio express(whom I dont recommend to anybody), and the dei piezo was 30.00

this same piezo(dei) is 9.99 to 15.99 on ebay.
