I have an Avital 2100 alarm and a Prostart ct3360 (manual transmission) remote starter in a 1990 Accura Legend. The way it's installed requires two remotes to use. It does not look like it is possible to have the ct3360 remote arm/disarm the alarm. Is this true?

you can't make the prostart arm and disarm but the RS should have a - activation input. you could use an aux from the avital to start the car

Thank you Serialthrilla. This still requires me to use 2 remotes. Being a 5-speed the car must be SET UP while exiting the car to remote start it later. This must be done with the prostart remote. Although I dont like to program the Avital to passively arm that maybe the only solution.

Acutally the X trigger input allows you to set ready mode, aswell as start and stop.

The PURPLE wire on the 12 Pin connector will accept a 1 second pulse from the alarm AUX output to remote start the vehicle. THis way you only have to carry around the Avital remote control and not the ProStart one. The only draw back is that the range for the Avital is not as good as the ProStart ( in most cases ). Also, depending on how the system was installed, you may have to carry some wires over to the other CPU harness. Did the ProStart control keyles entry as well or did the Avital do this, or both ? If both, then you don't need to worry about it.
