Hello, I installed a Crimestopper RS-900 VI the above mentioned vehicle and I get a call from the customer saying that her decklid opens up on its own. I had her separate the remotes from the car to rule out the possiblity of a transmitter problem and it still does it. I installed the system using a GM-U7 Databus module...has anyone else come across this problem before?

Did you install the trunk option ? Could the module have a small wire touching ground once in a while ?

Yes, I did hook up the trunk...but it only seems to do it after it sits for a while (a days work) so I kinda doubt that a bare wire would cause the problem. That was my first guess...I won't know until she brings me the car this weekend. I think that I am just going to replace everything (she doesn't live very close) and bench test the RS system to narrow it down.
