Hi all i am installing a remote start in this car, got everything except the trunk wire. The diagrams call out BLACK/ white at the switch (not there) i find it in the trunk but can not locate it up front, anyone know if there is a color change or a good way to run a wire from the trunk to the dash ? (Help) Thanks

try the truck light should be ORANGE / black (-)

Not sure what that would do , i need the wire to open the trunk with the remote ??? Thanks

The wire is found at the trunk release motor not at the switch. You will need to run a new wire from the trunk to the RS CPU. It's not that hard seeing that it will only be an 18 gauge wire.

sorry, in your original posting you said trunk wire. It didnt specifiy to open trunk or for alarm purpose.
