Hello all.  I have a designtech remote start that has a "quckstop" feature.  After the vehicle is in park, you can toggle the valet switch a couple of times and take the key out, but the vehicle stays running for 10 minutes or so.  Basicly same as using remote start, but never engages starter moter.

I am going to be installing a viper 791xv because I want the added features like 2 way remote and better range.  Is there a way or an option for the dei products to do this?    Saves alot of unneeded wear on the starter motor.

Thanks!

that feature is built into all DEI products, it's called " valet takeover" all you do is activate the unit ( press the RS button on the remote with the vehicle running ) then remove the key and it will run for it's programmed run time... simple, yes?
