Hi guys after hooking up the RS in this i find the trunk release switch on the dash does not work. It works with the new remote. When checking the wires at this switch i had a spark & thought i blew a fuse but checked all of them with no luck . There is a disconect switch in the glove box & that seems to be OK also ???   Any ideas ???      Thanks Lloyd

Yes the key has to be on for it to work & it did work before , The switch in the glove box disables the switch on the dash so you can lock it when leaving the key in a parking lot Thanks
