I am considering buying one of these alarms and I was curious if any of you have any experience with that particular model or any opinions on the brand name all together. The dealers here want $475 total to put it in our '02 sierra denali. I already know that I will be needing the passkey bypass and I am pondering about doing the install myself. I've found places online to get the alarm for $150 so i'ld like to save the install money.

Thanks in advance for any input or opinions you can give me.

Seems like a decent unit, I install the Astra product from Scytek, and it's been fairly reliable. Install is critical, make sure your grounds are 1000%

Thaks I bought the unit Scytek Galaxy 5000rs2w with the window and microwave modules.

Should get to Alaska in a week or so
