I have a Crimestopper CS 2006FM. I have search on how to extend the range of this system. I found one way I am not clear on.   This unit has an external comm module. Is itthe type that has a resistor that can be cut to extend the range, or does that only work on a certain type alarm?

I've only seen this work on the Aladdin a-2000 units we use to install. This was in place for FCC reasons.
