I was wondering if any ever installed the Compustar SSRS and how difficult is it compared to a regular RS such as the Autopage 850?  Is it comparable to the 850 in any way besides the price?  Is the range as good as they state?  I installed the 850 in many different cars and I love the options that it has, but I was a bit dissapointed in the range.  I am looking for a two way with the best range, price is not a concern.  Thanks....

I just installed one of the brand new compustar 2w900fmr alarms. I have been a compustar dealer since they started and installed all of their alarms. The new 900mhz model is by far the best. The remote is a lot smaller than the SS model, but the range is comparable and response time is faster. The remote has vibrate, a clock (with remote start countdown timer), and separate hood and trunk notifications. Most importantly it is more stylish, and the arm notification is mercifully shorter. I don't think they show it on the website yet, but it's been available for a month.
