Hello, I bought a GM keyless entry module with matching remotes on eBay. Does anyone know where I might locate the factory harness plug for the module? Or, is it even possible to add the module to a car that did not have factory keyless entry? From what I researched, this module should work with most all GM's that had factory power locks, which mine has. But, I cannot locate the harness plug. Thanks.

This is just my first thought on the idea, so i could very well be wrong. I doubt you can add keyless entry by just plugging in the unit, unless the car was at least designed to have keyless entry. Like I said I could be wrong, but for soem reason I doubt a 92 olds 88 was wired for that. i had a 97 old 88 with factory keyless and the keyless module was behind the glovebox and to the right of it. Thats 5 years difference though. Sorry if i am wrong by the way.

I found the installation location for the RAC near the PCM (behind the glove box), but, I cannot locate the harness plug for it. This car definately has the provisions for this, I've located the section in the service manual for it, and found the installation location. Any ideas on where the plug may be tucked away? I can't imagine GM having a different wiring harness for a car without remote locks. Thanks
