vehicle is a 90 Acura Integra.

i am trying to program the 2200 to not chirp when arming and to passively arm itself.  the procedure requires that the green or violet wires be connected (as well as the yellow).  i did not connect the violet wire to anything.  the blue trigger wire is connected to my hood mercury switch and doors.  those work fine.  the green wire is connected to the BUB module.

i am getting power through the BUB module, but i can not enter the feature programming mode (i am guessing because the alarm thinks the green wire is not connected to anything, but it is connected to the BUB).

through some searching i found that the BUB needs to charge before use.  could the fact that the BUB is not charged keep the alarm from recognizing the BUB module and prevent me from entering the feature programming mode?

it's asking to see a door open, which wire did you use to tap into the door circuit?   you dont need to use both + and - , just whichever you are using to monitor the doors in the vehicle....

right, my blue wire from the alarm goes to my doors.  the alarm goes off when any of the dorrs or hood is opened, so i know it 'sees' the doors.  i am doing this with the door open, BTW...
