Does the 98 Chevy Suburban have 5 wire reversal power doorlock system? Does someone have a diagram of the power doorlock system for the mentally challanged? My alarm has built-in relays.  Also I was looking for a wiring diagram including relay for the power tailgate release. Thanks.

From what i see your car has  has positive pulse door locks now this can easily be mistaken for a 5 wire reversal system so be carefull as to make sure you have a positive pulse system.  A positive pulse system will have 3 wires at the switch one will show positive all the time regardless of switch position the other two will pulse positive depending on which way you press the switch. Ok so if we figure your car does have a positive pulse system then you have to have the brain set to pulse a positive to the lock and unlock wires these wires usually can be found at the kick panel of the car. When wiring this type of sytem you have to wire the alarm in between the factory switch and factory relays or the door lock control unit .

ok now here is the colors for your car power lock = light/blue>>>>>>>>>power unlock is white and these can be found in drivers kick panel.

use a multimeter to make sure that these are the correct wires and that it is indeed a positive pulse sytem and not a five wire otherwise the switch in your car may be burnt out just a forwarning so double check.
