My friend has a Hornet 544t with responder remote. The remote still locks, unlocks, arms, disarms, and remote starts but it doesn't show locked or that it has started. Which it did work in the beginning. Has anyone heard of these remotes going bad??? Another thing is that his installer didn't even install everything as the should have. The only thing hooked up is the remote start and door locks with the door pin. The doors are his only trigger. Pretty messed up I'd say.

yes... ive replaced a couple already that ceased to act as 2 way remotes...they still worked fine as a 1 way remote, just failed to confirm back on the LCD.... i replaced them and problem solved.....
