I am pretty sure this cant be done but am curious if anyone has attempted to install a remote start/alarm in this car. Appreciate any feedback on this.

try to look at some of the previous models or others models to see any pattern or resemblance. hows the key like? all the other series use 555b...... try it. let it be the guinea pig and post some result.

I am not even gonna bother. This car is very much like the new 7 series and from what I have heard from BMW technicians neither of them can be messed with.

i havent done any BMW, but why are they do hard?

its not that they are hard there is not much info on these cars so its not like a GM where most wires have been the same for 30 years every model bmw is different and if something goes wrong how about $125 per hour to diagnose so its not worth it to most shops to work on them
