Are there any remote starters that have an infinite run mode on them?

It's for a dirt screening machine with a John Deere diesel. The owner wants to be able to remote start it from his front-end loader, this way he doesn't have to get out of the end loader alot.

Well you could use a remote start with external relays and then tie latching relays into the ign relay triggers. Then wire another relay to disable the latching relays from an accessory channel off of the alarm. This would keep the relays supplying power the the motor active, even when the remote start times out, and you would just push another button to turn the motor/relays off.

Sorry if that just sounds stupid but think about it. It can be done.

Thanks for the reply,It sounds like a lot of relays.I'm probably going to pass on this one.All of the relays and wires would be exposed on this machine, there is a lot of dirt and debris not to mention moisture in the air around this machine.

hi if your concerned about dirt and moisture  and you that ther only thing holding you back from doing it go to your local semi truck dealer and price out weather pac relays sealed water tight used under heavy trucks if they survive in oilfield applications they'll survive anywhere those guys do thing to those trucks that shouldn't be possible i saw a truck get it's axles ripped out in muskeg and other than a few brocken wires the electrical stayed dry

I found out that Crimestoppers have an infinity run mode,it's used by police vehicles or anyone who needs to have the car run for a long time.
