I must say, first of all the transmit range of the remote is maybe 0.1 mile tops.     Like 1-2 blocks.    It's ok if you park outside a house.    Maybe just the request doesn't go thru due to the low power transmitter, hopefully an actual alarm trigger from car -> remote will be further.

But the range doesn't matter anyway, read on.

The vibration mode is a serious joke.    You put in your pants and you cannot feel it!!  I am not kidding.  The only time you can feel it, is if you were holding it in your hand.   Maybe a chest pocket on a thin shirt, would work better.

The volume is also not audiable at all even if you're shopping in the supermarket, or at a typical restaurant.

So to get 2 way to be effective, you should sit at a quiet office,  Put it out on the table.

Overall it's a good alarm with alot of features, output, knock paging sensor and temp sensor thrown in with the price, but it's "barely" a 2-way system due to these flaws.

Mine works very good.  I believe it has to do with the install.  I can start my car when I am in a Mall while I parked my car underground.

the 6 I installed in the past 2 weeks have all worked great, in fact one customer said he had tested the range using a 2 way radioand said it worked at about 2 miles, though hard to believe.

the vibration/ melody has also not been a complaint, though i do think it could go louder as well.

The wiring diagrahm should be included in the package.  You couldn't find it?
