I'm having a problem with my alarm. It does not chirp or arm with button I, button II does nothing now. All button I does is keyless entry. I tried to enter to program the alarm but it doesn't even chirp when I hold the valet button down. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can start?

Check to make sure that your siren output is still working by diconnecting the siren wire from the unit and applying the proper polarity to it to make it wor. If it does still work, then check the wire from the unit with a DMM to ensure that it still has an output current on the wire. If no output wire, then it may be a faulty CPU or loose connector at the plug. Wiggle the wire around and push it back into the harness and try it again.

Make sure that it isn't in valet mode. I've seen these same exact symptoms and all it was was the alarm stuck in valet mode. Is your led light constantly steady lit? Not blinking at all, just steady lit. If it is, then its most likely in valet mode. Try holding down button 1 for 3 seconds to see if it enters panic mode and sounds the siren. If it does, then I'm almost positive its stuck in valet mode. To get it out of valet mode, try pressing the buttons in this sequence "2, then 1" like 3 or 4 times in a row (2,1 ,2,1 ,2,1 ,2,1)and see if the led turns off. If it does, then your alarm should work fine after that.

Easiest way to get out of valet is to open a door turn the key on to the run position then off. Withing about 5 seconds push the valet button for 1 second and release. To do this with the remote(must be 300 esp)open the door, push button 1(lock), wait a second, push button 2(unlock), wait a second, then push button 1(lock) again.
