alright so i just riped out my old predator and put in my new black widow 2 way pager alarm, i love it and can't stop playing with it... excepppppt, when i arm it, it's all good, til about 15-20 seconds later, when the delayed dome light finaly goes out, the alarm chips 4 times, indicating a faulty zone.. then goes back to its armed state. any ideas on how to get around this, i know there is a simple solution, but i'm to tired to figure it out and start dealing with relays.

What kind of vehicle? Chances are that the vehicle has independent door triggers that you can tag into that will fix this problem.

02 cavalier, they were working just fine on my old alarm, and i wired it exactly the same for the new one, now this problem. if i wait til the dome light goes out before i arm it, problem solved. but im not going to stand and wait around everytime for it to do that...

Yup, your car has independent door triggers. The driver's door trigger is GREEN/ black -trigger in the driver's kickpanel and the passenger doors are blue in the passenger's kick panel. If you tag both of these wires as your door triggers and diode isolate them your problem will be solved. Also I feel this one coming, the reason your other alarm didn't do anything was probably because it took longer to completely arm and the dome light turned off by then.
