Hi all, I've been an installer for 17years so my pride is really hurting while asking this question. In the past 2 weeks I've tried to install the 700t upgrade in 2 different chryslar products. 98 jeep cherokee and a 01 seabring convertable. In both ,the upgade will arm but disarming sets the alarm off and the unlock on the transmitter won't shut it off. Only with the valet/disarm will shut it off. In the sebring I used the or/blk for arm.Disarm dkblue/white and the sense or passanger door unlock pink/blue. All test correct. I then put it in the "door lock learn routine ", it did as the instructions said it would do. Again 17 year in the biz, I retested every wire more then 3 times. Still same out come. I ended up putting a code alarm in the sebring and it worked perfectly. I'm new to using the 700t as I've uesd code for the last 5 and had very few probs. This particular dealer likes dei. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Probably the problem with the disarming is that the disarm defeat wire (red) is seeing a pulse at the same time the unlock wire is (blue). Ok, here is what you have to do. First using the factory remote lock the doors, then unlock the doors. If only the driver's door unlocks on the first push then you will use the red wire. If all the doors unlock on the first push of the unlock button then you will not use the red wire. The green wire (arm input) will go to the door lock motor wire, wire showing +12 V when locking. The blue wire (disarm input) will go to the driver's door unlock motor wire, shows +12V on the first pulse of the unlock button from remote. The red wire (disarm defeat) will go to the wire that shows +12 when you push the unlock button from the remote the second time or any other wire that will unlock all the doors. The problem with chrysler is that they can change the progressive unlock at the dealership without telling the customer causing the alarm to not disarm (happens quite often to me), this is only when the red wire is hooked up. Also the lock learning procedure is bull, all it tells you is that something is hooked up, not neccesarily correctly.
