Ok this is wierd but the viper 500 that has been installed for like 3 months now decides to arm itself whenever it wants. Now I checked all my door triggers, and they are working as they should all my zones are connected. This arms wether the door is open or not by itself, and it is not passive arming because it does this way after it would have passive ly armed. It also continues to chirp when pressing disarm even though it already has disarmed. I dought the brain is bad i have seen a lot of vipers and not any were faulty.

Try this for starters..... take the battery out of all remote controls that control the Viper system. If the problem goes away then it's a loose connection on the remote control. I've seen this happen on a few RS units where it would remote start the car without pressing the button. Sometimes the button is pushed too hard and does not spring back into place.

It sounds to me like a faulty CPU. I would return it for a new CPU and see if the pronlem persists with the new one. If so you have a snagg in one of your trigger points.
