Hi,

Was wondering if anyone had any experience installing multiple LED's with a 996a.

I'd like to be able to add two (or four) additional LED's to my 996a (for the doors).  These would be simple flush mount, flat top LED's; similar to the DEI 622T.

Any help would be appreicated.

Thanks.

Never done it on an alarm, but on computers I have messed around with them. It should be no problem as long as you wire them in series. And they hardly use any power, so four of them should be no problem.

Yeah, just be sure that they are wired in series. I've seen ppl put up to 8 leds wired in series. But be careful, if you dont wire them in series you can fry the led output on your alarm brain.
