you need a channel that has a latched trigger. i know DEI product has this option w/ a channel thats program to latch and reset when ignition on.

What is going to turn the radio off before it kills the battery? If you accidentally push the button in your pocket and the radio turns on you'll drain your battery. Does the vehicle have the RAP (retained accessory power) feature? What is the vehicle your installing into?

You would hook a relay up to the output on the alarm, and then have it power the switched power that goes to your radio. Something like this.

86 and 87   12v+ Constant
30           Switched Power Supply to radio
85           - neg trigger from alarm

Now that would be if it has a latched trigger, if not you would need to add the latching part with some relays. Good info to be had HERE
