i am in the process of installing a viper 800 esp alarm with a your valet 551t REMOTE STARTERin 2000 gmc sonoma and have a few questions here goes

1. do i need to wire the starter kill relay because my vehichlie is equiped with gm passlock 2

2. on the 551t it has secondary ignition what is this does it need to be hooked up

3. on the 551t relay pack the is a fuse holder what amp fuse goes in there

4. it says i need a dei 555l or 555t can i buy this at any stereo shop and where does it install on the alarm/ remote starter?

1. its always good to have an extra one just in "case"...

2. it wouldnt hurt to power it up....

3.i dont use that unit...what is the relay pack for???

4. im not sure what the parts are for, but you should be able to get most DEI products at any shop...now how much will you pay for it....some shops charge an arm and a leg.....shop around first.....get all you parts together then do the install....if you dont and you really need the part, well you will pay top dollar....

it is the external relays where all the heavy starter wires come from

ok heres another question

do i have to use the channel 3 output from the viper to activate remote start?

or can i use channel 4,5, or 6 as long as i use the sensor shunt input (BROWN / black) used to bypas sensors during remote start???
