Hi;

I have a 98 Camry that I installed an autopage remote starter in. It starts
the car just fine, but usually when I park the car, I end up leaving the
blower fan on "Off"  or "Low" from the previous trip. I would like to have
the remote starter engage the blower fan to "High" regardless of what
position the Fan Knob was left in. To do this, I need to know what wire
coming out of the knob controls the fan speed. Any idea?

Thanks for any help
Pat

you would have to pull the switch and measure each wire....im not sure anyone would have that....most of the time you just leave the switch in set to "high" and when you remote start, everything works fine...

Like draasch said, you would have to pull the switch, find the high side wire and use a relay to engage it. I might even have to hook something like that up on my truck. Maybe with a default switch so that in the winter it will default to the heater, and in the summer it would default to the AC. That way I would never have to worry about what position I left the controls on. Or I could just get a new truck with the automatic heater controlsposted_image . Thanks for the idea.
