hello all up here,

the first post of a new (and desperate dutch member) of this forum;

the problem:
i have a clifford concept200 installed in mij volvo 850T-5R, put an intellistart 4 and a intelliwindows4 unit on it; but when i want to login to the alarm using the clifnet software and datakabel i only get the first screen what says that my ignition is off (or on) and the alarm is dissabled (or armed/in valet mode) but it doesn't go any further... it's trying to interogate the components and then says "error reading ECU", what is strange because the guy who soled me the alarm had it running with the clifnet wizard on a 12v power suply in his office...

is there a known problem with the software (i didn't find anything on search in this forum) or am i doing something wrong?

the facts (and used components) are:
- clifford concept 200
- clifford intellistart4
- clifford intelliwindows4 (just one kit)
- installed in a volvo 850 '95 (petrol automatic)

clifnet wizard running on:
- compaq presario laptop
- windows XP running
- datakabel connected at first COM-port

anyone got a clue?

thx in advanced,
Koen
(scuba)

yes, it's  the version 2.10

today i managed to get in, first the alarm reset to factory standards, but when i was in and the led was burning the computer crashed every time when i wanted to make a change... so if you ever get the message: "error reading ecu" try to reset the alarm manualy and then log on again...

only a shame that my computer keeps crashing, someone an idea to fix that?
