Whats the best/most popular alarm used in vehicles now. it must have motion sensor and shock and the usual stuff. Any brand specifically or model #

well the best alarms probably would be that of viper and clifford but these require a dealer install as well as a pretty nice price tag for them. But there is auto start i heard good things about although i have never installed one but yeah the most popular is viper, clifford, etc. also not only are these the most popualar alarms they are the most reliable never a pronblem.

The Largest selling alarm manufacturer is DEI or Directed electronics. They amke Viper, Python, Sidewinder, Automate, and several other lines, They also recently (In the last couple years) bought out Clifford. For my money Clifford is and always the best. You will have a difficult time finding anyone who will sell you any of these to install your self, and if you have little or no experience, you are best off having someone install it for you anyway. If you want to install it yourself, many DEI daelers will sell you Automate product over the counter. Ask for a MECP certified installer, and be sure to tell them where you want the LED, Valet switch, etc mounted.
