I bought one of these and I have a couple of questions on how to hook the door lock wires. Are extra relays always needed? I was told by the sales person that I had everything I would need in the box. If someone knows about this particular model I would appreciate any help.

it depends on what vehicle your putting this in......you may need a relay for trunk pop, or any other feature that is optional......as far as your door locks go.......the 1600xp has (+) and (-) outputs.....you'll only need relays for 5wire door locks, vaccum, or some vehicles require a stronger current pulse to operate.
