hello im puting in a window roll up module in my car, i have a prestige platinum APS 155.  i got the wires that go to the motors connected, and the ground and power from the power window control module.  the problem is...

the orange wire from the window module asks for 500ma Activation, and the alarm has CHANNEL 2 free ( negative pulsed output for Optional accesory like  (remote start, trunk release, window roll up)  ) and CHANNEL 3 (low current output for remote Start interference...)

Channel 2 = transistorized low current output of DELAYED 300mA PULSED OUTPUT

Channel 3 = transitorized low current output of 300mA.     active for one second,

which cable should i use for the window roll up module. it asks for 500mA Activation. and thats all it says.  can anyone help me.

do i need a relay? thanks

No relay needed. Those are just estimates. The roll up trigger is also usually connected to the ground when armed output from the alarm so they roll up when you arm it. Just remember you will need to split the ground when armed output with diodes (one to starter kill relay, one to window mod) or your windows will roll up everytime you shut the car off.

I've never worked with Prestige product, mostly DEI. I'm not sure if either of those accesory channels will work.   You need an output that will hold ground for as long as you hold the buttons on the remote. Ch 3 is only a 1 sec pulse, so the windows will only go up about 2 inches. Probably the same as ch 2.

can i get channel 3 to stay on a little longer, 3 or four seconds.  right now it does what you said.  goes up about a forth, then stops.  can i use capacitors or what?

Window roll up is supposed to go to the "Ground when Armed" wire coming off of the alarm. If your alarm doesn't have a programmable output or anything that will not go for more then a second then just hook it up the way is was meant to be done.
