INstalled a Delta Pro 5005 alarm/comand start about a year ago.  The 2way FM LCD remote is just about dead. 

There seems to be a lot of companies selling basically the same alarm (Delta, Panther, Commando, Galaxy Astra).

My question is:  Are the rmeotes basically interchangablle?  Can  buy a Panther or Astra remote to replace my Delta remote?

No. I have personally tried this and they are not all interchangeable. They use different frequencies, and in some instances different transmission methods (AM/FM).
