I hooked my white wire for the parking light output on the 791 to a RED / black wire on the back side of the fuse box,,, to be more exact it is the RED / black wire that is in the top middle harness(in the bottom right corner from looking from the back of the fuse box),, I did notice that there was several RED / black wires that had the same activation with the parking light output... It is working fine but I was wondering if I used the correct wire and location...P.s. I did test the wire and it was not the dimmer wire as the voltage remained the same..

Thanks    J

Test that wire with a DMM.

I did... I am a hvac tech and only use the highest quality meters.. All the RED / black wires in that harness had 12.5 volts with the parking light switch on and did not vary at all with the dimmer control... As I said,, the parking lights are working perfectly with the alarm.,, but I just wanted to see if this was a good location for the hookup or if there is another prefered place...

Thanks for the reply... J           Also I did van conversions and alarm installations over 10yrs ago and just have not done them in a long time..     If there is another preferable location please let me know...

If it works, don't worry about it.
