I installed a viper 350 hv in my dad's mustang, including a DEI glass breakage sensor, and upon connecting the brain, nothing worked. The siren is not at fault, as when I connect it to power it goes off. The remotes have new batteries, and I checked all of my power connections, they're all good. The brain is grounded properly and has 12v going in. I didn't connect the power door lock connector or the starter kill yet, or the switched igntion, as I was just testing the alarm to see if it armed/disarmed prior to completing the install.

I have a feeling the brain may have been sent to me DOA. However, the store I bought it from folded, and DEI won't help me since i'm not an authorized dealer.

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to why the alarm doesn't work? Or is there any way of determing the brain is indeed at fault, and if it is, getting it replaced somehow? Thanks.
