Wow I am reposting this so you guys can read it, hopefully

the moderator will delete the original post [sorry about that]

I recently installed a Valet 554r on my wife 1997 Lexus ES 300 Every thing seems to be working ok but after it

Auto-starts the Radio and heating/AC display flash from a dim to a bright. However if I un-hook the parking light flash it dose not do it. I used the white wire in the primary harness switched to Positive [ + ] and tied it into a GREEN/ orange wire that comes off the bottom of the fuse block facing you as you look at it. Dose anybody know am I tied into the wrong wire? or do I need a negative pulse on a different wire? Or maybe a relay ? I am at a loss? I do know something is not hooked up right but I have no information to bale me out… Hopefully some of you pros know whats going on with this system and can help me out.

it sounds like your parking lights are flashing when you start your car.......which is normal......you can program the system to have parking light output constant or pulsed......they come programmed from DEI for pulsed.
